Cascade
Long journey of the stream on the lap of planar plateau,
through the dark density of the forest cover it slithers,
rolls over the broken contour of land at the fall askew.
Vibrant wall of ribboned flow of fluidized swan feathers,
collapses on the cleaved rocky ravine, clad in reclined ferns,
as the gushing exuberance of splattered pearls of jubilation,
expressed in monotone splintering the silence of verdance.
The air of the tranquil valley ripples with the echo of elation,
gliding with the waters of the bubbling champagne flow,
dancing in the rhythm of esoteric ecstasy in split course
around the mossy boulders strewn with malachite glow,
amidst patina of foliage lent by drizzle from light source,
the sky, hidden behind sprawling screen of green canopy,
illumines mystique mist of diaphanous shroud rising slow,
lifts the curtain of gloom, glistening the darkness within me,
makes me revel enthralled nature’s light and sound show.
