Have you heard the Fiat joke? FIAT stands for "fix it again, Tony". I badly wanted a Fiat when I was young, heard they were such fun to drive! I used to drive a Volkswagen that was in the shop twice a month, oy! Loved your poem. Are you ready for our state to go entirely electric by 2035?

No on the electric. Boo. Think about it..we have not enough electricity for homes. How will cars run.they won't. Do what? Plug it into the nearest windmill covered with dead birds? Oy, oy? Tesla is leaving this nutty state! I can't say what FORD stands for. Will soup you that one. Fiats are very popular now. I almost died in mine in a car wreck. Mine had no AC, stuck shift..the hood flew off into San Francisco bay. The seats were like riding on index cards, my dad referred to my Fiat as a coffee can. He drove a four door Cadillac. He had more sense than I did..a Beatiful car...wow Hugs, Coffee Can Pangie xx ))

It is amusing to me that today's cars cost more than my first house! The expensive makes sense!

Panagiota, Enjoyed your 'Cars' poem as I've also enjoyed the insurance discounts during COVID. However, I broke down this week-end on a chicken dinner run. No AAA needed, just a push from two good Samaratans and off I went! I offered them money in gratitude, they wouldn't take a cent. -Richard

Richard! So many good Samaritans helped me over the decades. My FIATS were forever breaking down))) I owned three! Plus many giant American cars with V8 engines. Love big, old cars. Like you, I offered money. All these breakdowns caused me to enlarge my circle of friends. Now you can start cars on your own it's crazy with a small cellular device, no big wires or trucks. I have AAA of course. Pangie xxx

We'd be lost without them but they make you lazy for sure. So I like to go cycling to keep everything moving. Tom

Great point Tom. I can't ride a bike anymore, so a car is a must. Californians are big on biking. You can do it all year here))) Hugs, Pangiexx

Thanks Victor. We both have Vertigo. My daughter got on my case for not drinking enough water. Lack of that substandard! Vertigo. I tried Vertigo pills and got worse. Drink tons of water. See if that helps. On an iPad...moving pages fast..causes vertigo in me. Hope you see this reply. Blessings and prayers, Pangiexx Glad you liked this Cinquain!

Good Monday, Anne-Lise! Thank you. I recall my days with no car, ugh. I once hitch hiked from Kirkwood, Nevada to Lake Tahoe. Zero buses. Extremely dangerous thing to do but I needed to get to the bus in Lake Tahoe to return to SF. Upkeep on cars O's pricey, but they are magic! Hugs, Pangiexx
