Carry Us Home

We stood at the edge of contemplation
watching through the window to the world
but not ever knowing where we stare

We fathom the scale of injustice
weighing heavily on ordinary minds
where ordinary is atypical
and creativity is pushed
back into the recesses of time

Awaken with me in yesterday's linens
our dramatic interpretation of life's song
dispell rumors of ruins in waiting
and let your sensuous tune carry us home

Third reading. To oft when I "stand at the edge of contemplation" I get pessimistic and want to jump into the abyss. Your words remind me to chill and let the universe flow. Nuther fave. ~ j

Tim, as usual romantic, however here you have also struck the depths of contemplation, this is a 7 and a fav!

A great big ball of real, rolling downhill with truth's speed, slowed gracefully (or is it mercifully?) by a cushion of hope. Cheers, Tim!

It's been a while since I've heard a sensuous tune, Tim. I hope you enjoy singing along:)

This was beautifully deep Tim. Yesterdays are nice to look back on but the new day offers so much promise and adventure, follow that tune home but compose a new one for the two of you to sing to in the future.

Dramatic interpration of life's song..Indeed life can be a drama..and We the puppets on a string sometimes..but Life shouldnt always be that way.Sometimes one have to leave yesterday's bed linen behind and put on some fresh ones.Everything in life have a purpose..Every moment. So much to read jnto here Tim.
