Carry On Films

When I was young, I loved to see
The Carry On films on TV.
Their humour risqué, slapstick, fun,
And every line a clever pun.
With Kenneth Williams, Sid James,
And Hattie Jacques: all household names.
In hospital, a camp or fort,
The Carry On team looked for sport.
I think of them and start to smile;
I miss their zany madcap style.

Jack, I have never seen these films, but now I wish I had. The closest thing we had were the Three Stooges films and I always laughed at them. Best wishes in Michael's contest! Love, Carolyn

I have no idea about the Carry On Films. WAs it something like the Mash? Maybe it is from ages ago on your tv, kind of like our old Laugh In shows that i enjoyed. Cool entry for the contest, jack.
