Carry Hurry

he happy days have gone,
The happy days are hard to find,
I wish I understood why I feel sad,

I can't try to go on,
I can't feel the need to carry on,
My soul had died and am trying to get out of this sad thought,

I need to smile,
I need to try and laugh,
I need to try and carry on,

All those thoughts of pain in my head,
All those thoughts of feeling low,
All those thoughts of thinking why oh why?

I need to smile and carry on.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

What you need is a change. We've all been there at some points in our life. You can check my poem, "Sudden Change" if you like, it is kind of about that. Thanks for sharing when things are difficult. I had to check your poem also partly because you last name is Le Croix, you see, my maiden is, Delacroix. Best wishes, Mr, Le Croix, :) Caroline.
