Carolina

Churches sit upon red hills
And blue birdsong such a thrill
Romantic eyes looks that kill
Onyx night sky blue and still
Lovely southern accent that rings
In ears like song of sweetest dreams
Neighborhood nosey busy body
And dogwood flowers by the creek

Loved the warmth of this Karen! Inspired me to write my own Acrostic poem about where I live, Bolton :)

Your pen summoned up some better memories of the Old South for me, Karen. Thanks, Gershon

This is a scenic poem. You don't need to go south to find a busy body. I enjoyed reading.
