sorry, Joey. I thought the delete poem was supposed to be humorous, wasn't it? I had gone to your FIRST post ever and saw that I had actually commented to that one, so when I commented on your second post (the delete one I think), I commented on it as your FIRST one, but in reality it was the second one ever that you had posted here. Does that make sense to you now?

Magnificent piece of writing my friend. What a great beauty you have attributed to this lovely Haiku in the third line of your wonderful writing. Very well deserving win, this is really a Gem. Congrats on your grand win and many thanks for your comment on my Poem 'Greetings To USA from India'. It was a pleasure reading this wonderful Haiku. Love and best wishes...Ravindra ..JSL

A profound one, Joey. I saw Carolyn's comment. Don't they have to do with some organization related to Veterans or something? It's been a long time. BUt I seem to recall them sold for donations to some organization when I was younger.

One of my favorite flowers, Joey, but they're often asociated with funerals so the last line in your haiku is quite potent for me. Soup mail returned. Love and blessings, Carolyn

I really like this one JS! That saying comes to mind "take nothing but photographs, leave nothing but footprints" comes to mind- I really like how that last line makes one think-- & haha your comment in my haiku is so cool and really made me laugh ;) I love wordplay and sneak them in my writes from time to time ;) hmm you should've written about about "rose rows" instead ;) lol btw did you try the tetractys with your kids?
