Caress Me Again

As he walked away,
he was reaching him
She wished that he’d stay
but she could not move
and she could not speak

Her heart trembled
Her hands shaking
She was stoic
but still hoping

That he’d come
Back to her
with a smile

Will hold
her hands

 tight.

There is nothing sadder than lost love this side of death - but then again I reckon a part of us dyes when love is lost - great poem - God Bless
