her caring arms reveal in close up and with healing words the many faces of tattoo as caring eyes eloquent in fading light gently ease the coming night

Good to hear from you Gary. My health is improving (no carers involved now) but my poetry “spark” is missing. Fingers crossed it will return at some point, soon I hope. Your words are always encouraging and greatly appreciated. Thank you !

That's great to hear Peter. My muse has been on holiday since late last year but I'm enjoying reading others' work in the meantime. :) Take care. Cheers - Gary

Hi Peter. As much as I love your blank verse - it’s brilliant by the way and a great sister poem to your “Caring Arms” poem I read last year - I cannot help feeling somewhat concerned that you are still not in the best of health (I gleaned this rightly or wrongly from your poem) I hope this isn’t the case and all is well with you. I’ve missed your great poetry so it’s great to read you again here at The Soup. Cheers - Gary

Thanks Gary. Good to hear from you. You’re quite right in what you suspect. My fingers are crossed!
