Take a walk with me through the passage of time
High hair with no reason to rhyme
Wouldn't care in what I said or did
That's why I threw the M80 under the garbage can lid
Take me back to those good old days
Waking up late in some purple haze
Fat laces with the parachutte pants
Making out with my lately down at the dance
Let's look for love from a source up above
Time can make one escape to a very different place
Outside crying in the rain from all the pain
Let me be the first to explain
Careless whisper in the park & that night at the fair
We disappeared within space and time of the midnight air
A whole host of circle of friends to depend
The cry from a lonesome child out there in the night
In the distance we hear the soft music coming out of a car
We each our destined for laughter this shortly after the fall
A heart saturated with truth to stand the test of time
Holding each other close cause we were engaged in a kiss
Light & Love to all those seekers in the night
Shape the colors in your dreams with love by all means
Careless whisper on the dance floor there's pain in the truth
Behold the one willing to take part in the dance
