Notes About The Poem

Caregiving Kindness

Pampered with gracious blessings of kindness Moved by the Lord’s compassion-earnestness Our orphanage, propped through prayer fitness Lavishes children --- bountiful goodness. Despite attacks of human nature pain Caused by selfishness and arrogance stain We seek for blest peace of forgiveness reign As Christ-like character we hope to gain. Admonitions, stern; and reprimands, sweet We do blend as mercy and truth must meet Glad are we to hear them joyously greet Hugging warmly in their thanksgiving feat. Through patience along devoted ardor Nursing and rearing with caring fervor We share God’s love while trusting His succor In shielding children from hatred’s horror. Midst the Saviour’s kindness that reached us out Nourishing orphans echoes faith-bliss shout Special kids’ milestones vanquish distress pout… Kindness* does beget kindness; there’s no doubt.
*Ephesians 2:7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
