Beautiful bird and poem. Buntings are very rare near me in Maryland, USA, but recently were spotted in a popular place and created a big stir. I almost wrote about them. See https://www.washingtonpost.com/dc-md-va/2021/01/03/painted-bunting-great-falls-bird-watchers/
