Cardboard Shoebox

Commodities are less than what they were.
After two cuts, scissors unshackle.
Fresh threads fade or fray,
as if enchanted.
Barely worn kicks self-destruct
But she is the teacher.
In her cardboard shoebox,
keys of knowledge for learners.
