Cardboard City

Cardboard City, a place of fear Loneliness and terror always near. The wind echoes all around People so scared, make not a sound. Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide, People look on, but from the inside. Amongst the fear are drugs and violence, Some spend their lives living in silence. Begging and scrounging, all for a feed, Amongst the riches of capitalist greed. Runaway or throwaway, they are all the same Some only identified by a made up name. Hope of a future, a lifetime away Nothing but fear in the life of a stray.

Julia, it was nice seeing Cyndi's "I CAN'T BREATHE, generous list." Hope you enjoyed the showcase of this powerful contest theme, thank you for sharing the message. XOX ~LINDA~
