Caramels

Sugar.
You make me crave,
all the sweets and delights
that I never find in your kisses late at night.

Sugar.
I deny to myself,
every time I write to you
and you don't even say my name.

Sugar.
I need it as if I am in withdrawal,
from all the sweet fantasies
that will never be real.

Sugar, Sugar, Sugar...
I say it as if I pray,
but then I always go back for more
of your bitter taste!

Ha, ha! Saccharin is a substitute for sugar; sugar, a substitute for love. Nice insight! :) Gershon
