Carabao Egret
Knee-deep in flowing, verdant grass
near the creek beside
the hill,
a black carabao feeds on freedom,
leisurely roams
at will.
On its massive back, a delicate,
white egret
slow-dances,
the feathers of its slender neck
the morning breeze
romances!
