Notes About The Poem

Captive

Senses externalised, we’re held captive by myriad forms of fear and desire and so unless presence is adaptive, bemused by illusions, it will soon tire in pursuit of objects it would acquire. This recognition for us is enough to shift into calm, exiting seas rough, whereupon soul’s freedom is ours to claim, making easy challenges, that seemed tough, drenched in love and light, in our life’s end game. 03-Feb-2023
