Captivating

Here her eyes are as sapphire as blue can be
In her vision she sees,
all there is to witness
She is reassuring and ageless

And at times she is green with envy
She is vast and then see can be empty
She is volatile and at times furious
Her body lines are mysterious

But oh she is beautiful
when the sun aluminates on her shoulder
She is calm when she’s at rests on a bolder

She is playful and she’ll put you through the test
She’ll out live you, as you grow older
She has various peaks
and she roars when she speaks

Never underestimate her strength
for she’ll destroy you and repent
She may take over the forbidden land
with a rush from her clever hands

She has been around since the beginning of mankind
She is our ocean,
she is confined
