Capitol Offense

The White House is on a great lot
It's Washington's drive to it spot
But guards only train
That terror's to contain
So mentally ill there get shot

Well, we can't do that. But we can make fun of them. There is a joke going around...Terrorists take over the Capitol and threaten to burn all the members of Congress with gasoline. So special envoys are sent our to raise the ransom money. However, when they ask for money, the folks around the country simply remark that they would only be willing to contribute money to cover the cost of the gas. (Terrible!)

Law enforcement people are usually considered to be heroic. They put their lives in jeopardy every day. They have to handle many dangerous situations, That is part of their job. Not killing the innocent or the sick when it is not necessary to do so. So I only ask a question--was it necessary to kill in this case?
