Bleeding behind a crimson-colored cloud,
a scarlet sun tints dusk; cerise and pink.
And burgundy entombs Sol like a shroud,
as He slowly starts to shimmer and sink
into an abyss of ebony ink;
while the far horizon begins to shrink.
Luna, donning a glowing golden gown,
ascends into a black, star-studded sky.
And diamonds and rubies adorn Her crown;
as Mercury, Mars, and Venus rise high
above the flashing lights of a firefly,
and the shifting shadows scurrying by.
Dawn spills color, inking black sable skies;
vermillion, purple, indigo, and blue.
And like molten gold, Sol begins to rise;
reflecting rainbow shades of every hue
in the crystal droplets of morning dew;
as once more, a brand new day starts anew.
And silk spider webs flaunt a silver sheen;
beautifying Nature's canvas of green.
