Can'T You Read My Mind

Mom, I can't seem to find The words to tell you why I am being so unkind. I just Know I am sorting Through things by myself because your working And don't seem to have the time. I am busted All up inside so much I cry myself to sleep I hurt so deep. I put trust In to my friends Who betrayed me in the end. Yet, I can't seem to tell the person who loves Me each and every day how my brother sided With his best friend. The creep It wasn't fair! You didn't seem to care. I am not a seer. I understand the pain Now that you have explained. I can only look for signs that are Out of the ordinary Because believe it or not I can't read minds Much to the contrary.

I have never been able to read a child's mind, because they are way too interesting, however, my husband and I often sit in silence for three hours and then laugh at the same stupid thing. I think there is a mind-melt there. Sweet right, speaks to the miscommunication of the young ones, who do not yet have the right words.

Children put their parents up as super hero's because each and every day we go above and beyond what is expected of us. I know I did. Thank you so much for the visit.

I think we all feel that way sometimes, like what the heck? were we supposed to be able to read your mind? I enjoyed the read!

Thank you I am glad you liked it. In raising children I have found that they expect us to know so many things. I do believe that they think we should be able to read their minds or get it by osmosis. Lol. If we could a lot of problems would be averted.
