Can'T
can’t change the flow of the river
can’t change the course of the storm
can’t change the way this is going
no way I can turn this around
can’t turn the tide in the ocean
can’t pull the stars from the sky
can’t keep the moon from rising
no matter how hard I strive
can’t keep the wind from blowing
can’t make the warm sun shine
can’t stop the way I’m feeling
don’t want to even try
can’t stop the flood of emotion
can’t heal the heart that breaks
can’t dry the tears I’m crying
won’t make a difference anyway
