Canopy

By moon light and starry night The wisest of trees bare a canopy The harboring eves The wind-dancing leaves Shadowy silhouette masquerade on your skin Perfume of your body circulates by the wind Moon stretches and strains to kiss you Through the bounty of leaves, branches, atmosphere But only opalescent slivers break through So alive is the world as it reflects off of you Such beauty projected from you Such life manifested from your own I watch in awe, at your side Beneath the canopy

Lovely! I too have walken through woods and felt a lovely energy in their embrace.
