Candy Coated

Reeses pieces
I remember when the wrapper ripped
When I gave you one as a consequence
When I kept them hidden
They are haunting
It couldn't be gummy bears
You disappeared
We are in a judgment
Burned at the stake
Honesty is meh
Does the chocolate melt inside the hard candy shell?
Over and over
Want to break free
I just let it be
Unconsumed
Confused
There is no try anymore
I want to write about you
It was a path
Journey to the core
I don't have a clue
What is an empath?
