Candy Cane Sticks

CANDY CANE STICKS

bent little crooks
red and white 
stripes
help us swallow
Christmascrass
hype 

succor sugar comforts
stuffed stocking taboo

peppermint sticks
disabling treats
bow to licking
lips

spry little hooks that
stoop to bingecringe
stick sickly sweet 
decaying teeth 

succor sugar comforts
stuffed stocking taboo

tastebuds tingle 
sleighbells jingle 
cell-o-feigns 
freed
Candy Cane 
Christmascrass
