Candy

her voice haunts me
like the sweet taste of candy
i cannot have

a piece
          a nibble
                    a lick

the scent of cinnamon
fills me up

i hunger for more
desire the flavor
of each word
that tempts my ears

the sugar drops of
each syllable
that hangs on
her tongue
my hunger grows
