Candle Don'T Cry
Once there was a candle sitting in front of a mirror
It wept and wept all the while with horror
Dark were the nights
Switched off were all lights
A whole world shivering
A black shadow was overpowering
The candle witnessed deadly sins
Overweighed by a burden were all the house's bins
A poet used to sit by the candle's light
His poems would help make his nights bright
Sad songs were sung by a melting heart
Feelings were pierced by destiny's dart
Some wept more than the candle on their pillows
Their courage was crushed by fate's blows
The candle cried and cried
Why did the sun's rays hide and hide
Tired, once it wished that the wind would blow more
In this way it could be extinguished to its core
Alas, the poor thing was doomed to witness
It's helplessness was mistaken as its fitness...
