Cancer Took Them All

what is this thing we call Cancer
it’s tearing my family apart
one by one
Cancer took them all

my heart is truly breaking
it’s about to take yet another
one by one
Cancer took them all

so many have gone before
grandparents, parents and more
one by one
Cancer took them all

throat, stomach and lung
pancreas, liver and brain
one by one
Cancer took them all

the mourning lingers on
is my fate already sealed
one by one
will Cancer take my life as well
