Cancer

The light and the shadows
They play a game with me
The dreamy sun
Silent in its state
Yet you rose up and fought against
Those dirty fangs of cancer
That pierced your skin mercilessly
I prayed to God, prayed hard for help
The truth is spoken at times like this
It's a thin thread that will not hold long
When tears come down my face
Can you believe how much you touched
My life? My mind? Ah!
My heart aches
A strong young woman blossomed
Couldn't bear to see
Those foul demons took her away
From here I'm lost and alone

Wasting away at the bottom of an endless lake
Shaking hands reach out for nothing
Taking to the bars so these sweeties will talk back to
me
This dream seems unreal sometimes
Cherry cheeks flashy smile
Twinkle in her eyes
I wish I could witness
One more time .
