Cancelling T

Iv'e heard there are some, who wish to do
A cancelling of 't' the very first letter; at the 
Beginning Of true.'
I got into a puzzle of thought; and guess.?
Till upon inquiry there was help no less'
It seems,  there is afoot?
A sort of plan' if it's removed from 'treason'
Some won't carry the can!
