I used to do this, declare a mental health day, about twice a year when the kids were in school.  Just because everyone needs a mental health day every now and then.

Cancel All My Appointments

CANCEL ALL MY APPOINTMENTS!!!

CALL WORK

TELL THEM I JUST FEEL TOO GOOD

TO WASTE IT ON THEM

WAKE THE KIDS

WE’RE GOING OUT FOR BREAKFAST

CALL THE SCHOOL

TELL THEM DAD JUST DECLARED

A “MENTAL HEALTH DAY”

GET DRESSED

WE’RE GONNA GO PLAY

NO BACKPACKS

NO BRIEF CASES

NO TOOL BELTS

JUST US……

AND A DAY

APPROPRIATED

FOR THE MAKING

OF MEMORIES
