Can You Spare a Moment

I wonder, do you wonder too? Can you spare a moment, or perhaps a few? For you see, I am a lonely man; Have you likewise ever lonely been? I will light a candle, or even three For the promise of your company. We could share a glass of Chardonnay, Or a Brandy, if you will only stay. As for the night, it might never end, Should you the every hour spend. Can you spare a moment, or maybe four? Till flies the moon, and evermore!

All of a sudden I was recalling Wuthering Heights, one of my favorite novels. Anyway, thank you, Charmaine—for the read and smile (-; ~ Ken

A fine romantic write; wonderful antidotes to loneliness here penned. Cheers, Gershon

Thank you, Gershon. It did a little revising, and I hope you’ll take another look—still romantic, but I think, improved. Thanks again, and the best always ~ Ken

Hello Kenneth R. Merrill, to be lonely is not a good feeling. We all need someone in our life. It takes time to find that special person. Have a nice evening my friend.
