Can You See Me

Does anyone see,
The me inside me?

Does anyone care,
If I’m even here?

Does anyone try,
To comfort my cry?

Does anyone show,
Love I need to grow?

Does anyone hear,
All of my fear?

Does anyone say,
How was your day?

They walk right by,
And inside I die.

Well written couplets Daisy, I interpret your poem to the state of society today where human interest is totally lacking, over the years due to a lack of a common cause we have become detached from social interaction which is alien as humans are social creatures in turn causes us to get distressed, forgive me if I have got the wrong end of the stick, I found your poem interesting and a joy to read my friend. :))
