Can You See It

Despite my convictions in my predictions
I don’t see it
What lies ahead in front of this
I don’t see it
I really want to know, but I’m enjoying the ride
Of a lifetime
Leading to a place of which I know only one thing
I don’t see it

Reveal yourself, enough with the curiosity
Hurry up, impatient by this constant velocity
Where is the ferocity
I’m sitting still, ready to defend our democracy
Without vision, because I have faith,
In what it is that I don’t see
One day I will not not won’t see
Or won’t we?
