Can You Dig It

I got all decked out
  Ready to meet some foxes
 So I jumped in my Deuce and a quarter
 And peeled out

 At the party there were lots of skirts
 The first  girl I met had toys in the attic
 Then a stone fox came my way
 And made my day

 We started rapping
 And everything was cool
 Then we began dancing
 Soon we were making out

 That party was a gas 
 Can you dig it
 I was swapping spit with the lovely lass
 But right now I got to split
                    ----

Andrea Dietrich June 9, 2015 at 5:31 PM yep, some of that slang is still around even today. Hmm, I think I need to pull out my old poem I did for a contest similar to this one and revise it to free verse style. I think it was about the 80's but I forgot the name of it. ahhaha (nice job!)
