Can You Cry For Me

Can you cry for me?
As I'm swept by this breeze?
It's been a while since
I've felt happy
Misery had attacked me

I've never seen you before
But your heart has seen more
Bloodshed than I could witness
If the oppressor ever hit this
Thought and if I ever die

Please keep in your memory
My generation isn't hearing me
So early I visited heavens gate
Where the true lessons wait
That's all I have to ask

I find writing therapeutic, but when I'm really down nothing comes to town! As long as you can write you are doing something right! The lower the woes, the higher the glows, so to speak.

Hey Rick sorry for the late reply. True writing is therapy, after the world kicks you around, just writing a few stanzas can shed some light.
