How do you get away from where you are
How do you run from where you’ve been
How do you change the person you are
How do you become the person you want
How do you change the way used to be
How do you stop from hurting yourself
How do you stop from hurting everyone else
Can you take the hurt back from those before
Have you the strength to mend yourself
Have you the courage to mend others
Have you enough hope to have a future
And enough of all three to carry on
