Can We Take a Walk

Can I Join your endeavor
Expectations far exceed
Before time could continue
A cloud of doubt did not appear
So, can I tally with you
Creator, beyond words
I pose a question
The pleasure‘s mine if you’d walk with me
Let me know the fullness of your presence
In silence
We’ll let the future be the past
Gifts bestowed on me I’d grant to others
For my bounty overflows
May you linger near and abound
Into the depths of his soul
A request of a son
Who wants to hold your hand
So you can lead me home
