can it be true
that im losing you
for what seems forever
that we have been together
the rivers still flow
as i watch you go
can it be true
that im losing you
where did i go wrong
love can be shared for so long
why do is it end now for us
goodbye could not possibly be a must
can it be true
that im losing you
please do not cry
i will not say goodbye
i feel as if i am no longer here
your so far away i wish you were near
can it be true

i lay on this ground
wishing not to be found
you have become distant everyday
i beg of you please do not go away
can it be true
that im losing you
you're falling from my grip
falling fast try not to slip
the sun shines bright in the sky
as my face grims and i began to cry
can it be true
that im losing you
i feel so safe wraped in your arms
leaving all this behind i would be walking in harms
way for sure this is why love is a dangerous game
that we all choose to play my heart is the one to blame

that im losing you
days go by as do my tears
my thoughts forever surround my fears
this is what i get for you leaving me
someone please set me free
