Can I Keep You

It's selfish of I, to want you all to myself
And as foolish as that sounds, I desire no one else
My heart belongs to you my Angel Eyes
Heart to heart, is the only way to hear my sigh
I'd give my last breath for the chance
For you to feel what I feel at a glance
Please don't get the wrong impression
I ain't but nearly miss-placed my direction
I'm not confused about what it is I seek
Stop, Pause, Wait one minute and take a peek
Grow old with me and see what I see
I get the warm feeling of closure when you're around
A voice whispers to me it's time to settle down
For the once in a lifetime chance has present itself
And never will you be faced with a chance with anyone else
I have the comfort of knowing where my secrets lie
They're with the key to my heart my Angel Eyes
So while you sleep, my spell works its way through
I chant those mockery words, Can I. . .. Keep You?
