CAN I Believe
Do I believe? can I believe?
I feel the anxiety.
It creeps up on me like a tiger in the night
Slowly going for her prey.
And with one swift jump, she encompasses
All there is to satisfy her whim, her hunger.
I am hungry too! I have been hungry
For such a long time!
My heart is swollen but with one soft
Pressure from your lips on mine,
I release, I cry. The tears come
Falling down around me.
I am drowned with the mere
Essence of you!
In all the time, and all the wait
Is it my time?
The answer is only yes, yes, yes.
