Calvary's Tree

CALVARY’S TREE I think that I shall never see A tree quite like Mount Calvary, The tree where Christ died in my place That I might be saved there by His grace, The tree that points to Him to say, "I am the truth, the life, the way." The tree where all my sin He bore That I His righteousness might wore, A tree where "It is finished" cries That I might live there in the skies-- Yes, poems are made by fools like me, But only God could make that tree. --Written from the poem “Trees” with a spiritual meaning.
