Calm Your Frayed Nerves

Calm your frayed nerves, dry beading brow
You’ve reached the end, now time can cease
How we got here, don’t ask me how
Calm your frayed nerves, dry beading brow
Accomplished as much as days would allow
Your loose ends are tied, be at peace
Calm your frayed nerves, dry beading brow
You’ve reached the end, now time can cease

this is kind of sad but it's lovely triolet writing. Thanks for my win in your contest. What a nice surprise for my day.

Wonderfully written Hat with fresh expressions including "now time can cease," "accomplished as much as days would allow." I love the invitation to be at peace not only at the end of life but at the end of each day. This triolet speaks in delicate footsteps. It is the picture of poetic elegance. Your words will stay with me. Thank you for sharing your wisdom! So glad you are back in the soup! Blessings.
