Calm Before Chaos
The dark cloud comes rolling in; the storm is contained within.
The electricity in the air will thicken; the energy making my pulse quicken.
The silence is deafening, it is so loud; as
The moon disappears into the storm cloud.
As the night overtakes the day; a train whistle blows, from far away.
The musty smell of rain; promising clean air once again.
I hold completely STILL; as I ponder my life upon this hill.
TRANQUIL beauty; it is so SERENE; what the definition of PEACEFUL must really mean.
Not a single soul to be found.
QUIET; at this moment I hear no sound.
Moments like these are worth it all; when we take time to enjoy them all.
This is my moment of CALM; amidst the chaos that calls me Mom.
