Calm

There's a wonderful calm. A breeze over my soul My blood pressure confirms A hole-free whole There's a glorious peace Rising from within Not nirvana for sure But the veil is super thin Storms will come Yet surely fade Hope remains constantly Created not made It's a bit like the colour Was washed away Then returned briefLy In a rainbow one day Samsun Scott 16th September

Very nice Sam. Glad to see you're doing well here. The ebb and flow of life, the good and bad. In the end, peace

Change is the only constant, true. It pays to recognise and celebrate those moments (and people) who colour our lives :)

This is a wonderful, well written poem Sam. Very tranquil. I particularly love the third stanza and the last one.,’ Then returned briefly in a rainbow one day’.Just lovely! Really enjoyed it. Thank you for sharing. Blessings and smiles :):)

Peace and glimpse of hope flowing throughout your well crafted lines, so much depth in this profound write. I especially love the rhymes and the way you’ve written “ storms will come yet surely will fade” i agree. This poem gives me hope! Thank you! Loved it

Oh wow, this is such a beautiful and heartfelt write. I can definitely feel the emotions hued in this brilliant poem, a sense of serenity that has just begun to coruscate as a nascent glimmer of hope.. Not fully eliminating the storms but giving us the strength to surf and sail.. I really love the line "It's a bit like the colour was washed away, then returned briefly in a rainbow one day" Yes, the faith and belief must live on! Needed to read this today, so gorgeous :)
