Calling In Sick

Brrrrrriiiinnnnnggggggggggggggggg
Good. She is not going to pick up.
You can talk to a machine.
So much easier.
Hello?
Hello?
Um, ah, hey, boss, I am seriously sick today. There is no way I can come to work.
What is wrong?
I have pneumonia, asthma, possible flu, my leg is broken and my head just fell off.
Drop the phone now.
That is enough.
Some people might even consider it overkill.

Lol! I love this, Caren. You've captured this familiar phenomenon perfectly with your endearing wit and your last line is especially awesome.. Warmest wishes always my friend.. ~Susan

Thank you Susan. I know when I call in and I am faking it, I tend to give two or three reasons rather than one.
