Called To Say....

I just called to say Goodbye, I just called to say I'm sorry
For all the pain I brought down on you.
I just called to say Goodbye, I just called to say I'm sorry

When we were young and wild and free, 
we'd always say we'd be together....
Just you and me
but it wouldn't be

And now I walk along this road, 
I often turn to see what might have been.......

Michael Hornschuch July 21, 2010 at 7:20 AM Thank you, I was introduced by my dear friend Rick Parise to this sight. As you can tell, I have no rhyme nor reason lol, but it's all in fun and if I learn something, all the better. I love poetry, and now Rick has put the 'bug' in me to study up more poets and poems. Thanks for the wonderful sight and look forward to reading more of YOUR poems!
