Called Away

I Got A Call The Other Day.
They Said That You Had
Passed Away.
I Didn't Want To Believe
It Was True.
It Made Me Very Very Blue.
I Said, To Myself, "How Could
This Be ?"
This Just Does Not Seem Real
To Me.
There Was So Much To Still
Work Out.
So Much, Yet, To Talk About.
But I Guess God Decided It
Was Your Time.
So He Took You To Live In
His Paradise.
Free From The Pain That You
Lived With.
Free From The Suffering That
Would Not End.
I Just Hope You Know That
I Did Love You
And I'll Think Of You Each
Passing Day.
Your Death Has Caused Us
Many Tears,
But We'll Cherish Your Memory
Throughout The Coming years.
And I Know That, In Time, I'll
Come To Realize
That Your Passing Was Not A
Time To Cry.
And That God Needed Another
Angel With Him In The Sky.
And I Know That, For All Of Us,
You'll Never Be Far.
Because You'll Live On Forever
In All Of Our Hearts.

Rest In Peace Dad... We All Love You !!

Thanks everyone for the awesome comments. @PoetDestroyer: My fiance and I moved away from where I was born and raised (Wisconsin) and moved to Washington State and away from my family. I anticipated, upon moving, that it would be the last time I'd see my Dad alive. But no matter how "prepared" a person THINKS they are... they are never really prepared for that phone call. Thanks for the sympathy !!
