Call of the Sea
CALL OF THE SEA
The salt of sea is in my blood
It sounds like sailor's lore
But an emptiness that begs my heart
Calls me to the shore
There's no sane reason I can give
To brave cold winter nights
This thrill is not a simple joy
Exceeds all love delights
How passion’s seeds ignite in us
Is difficult to say
But with the waves of winter seas
My cares are washed away.
