Call Me Icarus
Call me Icarus
and though I may not touch the sun,
I rise and soar beyond this earth
touching freedom, myself I have become..
Call me Icarus
and though today’s flight finds me alone
I loved and burned
with desires taking me beyond the known.
Call me Icarus
and know that without your precious love
I ride forever in and on the clouds
on feathered wings of doves.
